Rehabilitation Services

The emphasis of the rehabilitation services at Sherrill House is on patient education and functional rehabilitation. Our over-arching goal is to return the patient to the highest possible functioning level. This takes into account his or her lifestyle requirements such as Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), work, level of activity including sports and recreation, as well as active participation with family and friends. These goals are pursued in an interdisciplinary manner, in a friendly, active environment where staff and patients support one another in the rehabilitation experience.

Our sun-filled rehabilitation gymnasium is among the largest and most comprehensively equipped rehab spaces of any rehabilitation center. Our in-house staff of professional rehabilitation therapists is trained in the latest rehabilitation techniques and maintains their skills through aggressive continuing education, classes and programs.
