Chelsea Theran, MSW, appointed Special Care Dementia Unit Social Worker

Sherrill House is pleased to announce the appointment of Chelsea Theran, MSW, as social worker on the Special Care Dementia Unit.  Ms. Theran graduated from the Boston University School of Social Work this past May, after completing internships at Sherrill House, the Boston Supportive Housing Program and the Uphams Corner Elder Service Plan, where she led a group for clients afflicted with dementia. While at BU she participated in the intensive Lowy Gerontological Program.  Stephanie Recchia, Sherrill House Director of Social Work, said, “Many of our residents and families got to know Chelsea when she was an intern here, and her strong clinical skills and enthusiasm will be a real asset. We’re delighted that she’s joined our staff.”
