The Art Connection Open House and Art Reception Thursday March 6th, 2008

Sherrill House will be hosting an open house and art reception on Thursday March 6th from 4:30p.m. to 6:30p.m. to showcase a vibrant collection of newly acquired original artworks obtained through The Art Connection. The Art Connection is a Boston-based nonprofit organization that helps artists and collectors donate their art to nonprofit agencies such as Sherrill House. T he Art Connection acts as an art clearinghouse, simplifying the donation process and offering a wide variety of original works for selection by qualifying agencies in Greater Boston.

The twenty pieces of art that will be featured at Sherrill House’s upcoming open house were acquired this past fall. Sherrill House also received twenty works through The Art Connection in 2006. We are grateful for the continued support of The Art Connection, and we invite the community, The Art Connection staff and artists, volunteers, family members, residents and friends to come and enjoy the art in its new home at Sherrill House. All are welcome to join in a guided tour of the entire collection of artwork that now graces our halls and brings beauty to the lives of our residents, families and staff.
